Ⅵ. Entry Rules
1. Age Limitation
⑴. Half Marathon: 16 or above (born before April. 25, 1994)
⑵.Mini Marathon: No Age Limit
2.Physical Condition Requirements
All participants shall be physically healthy and often conducting running practice or obtaining running training. Participants are advised to register in the race upon his/her own physical condition and training status.
People who fall into the following categories are advised not to participate in the marathon competition:
- Those with congenital or rheumatic heart disease;
- those with hypertension and cerebrovascular disease;
- those with myocarditis and other heart disease;
- those has serious coronary artery disease and serious arrhythmia;
- diabetics with blood sugar of overtop or overlow;
- others who are not suitable for sports.
3. Registration
⑴. Both individual and team registration will be accepted. All entrants are required to fill out the Entry Form (See Form 1) individually. Registration form is available in the Yangzhou Marathon Organizing Committee office on the 1st floor of Yangzhou Sports Administration.
⑵.Team registration can be made through organizations including provincial or municipal governments, schools and associations, and is requested to fill out the entry form for team registration (See Form 2) with the official seals of the organizations and attach individual Entry Forms of team members.

4. Registration fee
There will be different arrangements for registration fee according to different time period, different courses and different participants (the registration members of Chinese Athletic Association exempt the registration fee, and their two days’ accommodation will be supplied by Organizing Committee.) Foreign runners will be provided with one day’s accommodation and will be invited to the welcoming banquet.
- For those who register before 11:30am, March 24th, 2010
(1.2) Overseas entries: USD $50 per capita for Half Marathon, USD $30 per capita for Mini Marathon.
(1.3) Team registration (more than 20 people), USD $30/person for foreign runners, and RMB 30/person for domestic runners for Half Marathon, USD $20/person for foreign runners and RMB 20/person for domestic runners for Mini Marathon.
(2)For those who register between 11:31am, March 24th, 2010 and 12:00am, April 19th, 2010 (The registration is open until the number limit is met.)
USD $100 per capita for foreign runners for Half Marathon and USD $60 for Mini Marathon; RMB 100 per capita for domestic runners for Half Marathon and RMB 60 for Mini Marathon.
(3)For team registration, the team manager and the coach of each team can enjoy free accommodation in the appointed hotels for one day and will be invited to welcoming banquet. (Other fees will not be refunded.) We will make arrangements to pick up domestic teams at Yangzhou bus or railway station, and foreign teams in Nanjing or Shanghai.
(4)University and College Group: free of charge, provide insurance. According to the registration time, one coach, one team manager and four athletes of the first twenty universities (except local universities or colleges) can enjoy free accommodation in the appointed hotels for one day. RMB 200 deposit is required for registration, and it will be refunded when check in.

Ⅶ. Competition Rules
1、The events are conducted in accordance with Rules and Regulations for Track & Field certified by International Association of Athletics Federations and Chinese Athletic Association.
2、Roll-call at a unified time according to different event categories. One start for all races.
3、Running sequence: Athletes will array in the order of Half Marathon and Mini Marathon (In each event, individuals go first and groups following behind). In half marathon, professional and invited foreign athletes go first and other players following behind.
4. Timing Chips Service: The Organizing Committee will provide timing chips for half marathon runners. Chips will be distributed together with number bibs in advance. RMB 100 deposit is required for per chip per runner. Chips should be returned in the post-event area where deposits would be reimbursed. Otherwise, deposits would be kept for compensation.
5. Closing timetable and time limits:
In order to ensure the safety of runners and success of the race, there will be closing time at certain parts of the route during the game, and there will be traffic control during the limited time. The traffic will come back to normal after the closing time. Those runners who haven’t finished the required distance before the closing time should immediately stop running and leave the track to avoid danger. Those runners who have quit the game can take the bus provided by the Organization Committee to the destination of certain race.

6. Please check the <Instructions for Athletes> about all the requirements and arrangements of the race. (The Instruction will be distributed together with the number bibs and timing chips.)
Ⅷ. Recognition and Awards
1. Half Marathon
(1) Awards for Ranking Finishers (RMB 176.000 in total)
Top 15 finishers in Men’s and Women’s Marathon will be issued with bonus (in RMB, see the chart below). Trophies will be issued to top three in Men’s and Women’s Marathon.

- A prize of RMB 20,000 shall be awarded to the runner who breaks Men’s or Women’s half-marathon record of Jianzhen International Half Marathon (Yangzhou ·China).
Women’s record: 1:08:59
- A prize of RMB 40,000 shall be awarded to the runner who breaks Men’s or Women’s half-marathon Asian record.
Women’s Asian record: 1:07:26
- A prize of RMB 80,000 shall be awarded to the runner who breaks Men’s or Women’s half-marathon world record.
Women’s world record: 1:06:25
- Runners who finish the race within time limitation (3 hours) will be issued with certificates and souvenir medals. Top 150 male runners and top 50 female runners will be awarded one set of sportswear of ANTA besides certificates and souvenir medals.
- All runners will be provided with an ANTA T-shirts, number bibs and bags in advance.
- Team Awards (in RMB)
- More than 150, RMB 5000 will be awarded.
- More than 100, RMB 3000 will be awarded.
- More than 50, RMB 1000 will be awarded.
2. Mini Marathon
All runners will receive an ANTA T-shirt, number bibs, a bag and competition certificate. (There is no timing chip for mini marathon. Runners can take down their own competition time according to the electronic timer at the end of mini marathon.)

Ⅸ. Insurance

Ⅹ. Accommodation
RMB 100 deposit for reserving accommodation should be paid when register if reservation is needed. The deposit is not refundable.
